VIAREGGIO. L' immagine del viale dei tigli di Viareggio sovrapposta, in un video, a Ground Zero. Il filmato è stato realizzato da Victor Rambaldi, figlio del premio Oscar, Carlo, e sarà proiettato sabato a Montecarlo nel corso di una gala di beneficenza organizzato dal principe Alberto. Il video è stato realizzato per promuovere il progetto che prevede di donare alla città di New York circa tremila alberi a memoria delle vittime delle Torri Gemelle. Proprio i tigli, infatti, saranno piantati nelle strade limitrofe di Ground Zero e nel filmato viene proposta la sovrapposizione tra il nostro viale e le vie newyorchesi per creare il futuro effetto visivo. La serata di gala servirà proprio per presentare il progetto e raccogliere i fondi da un'asta di beneficenza in cui verranno battuti oggetti di proprietà dei vip presenti. Il gala sarà presentato da Luca Barbareschi e prevede anche un' intervista con l'ex sindaco di New York Rudolph Giuliani. Tra gli ospiti gli attori Robert Wagner, Harrison Ford, Roger Moore, Kevin Kostner, Cheryl Ladd, Patrick Duffy, Elena Sofia Ricci e Cristopher Lee. Tra i cantanti Bono degli U2 e Sananda Maitreya, tra gli sportivi Laurent Fignon, Rubens Barrichello, Alberto Tomba e Ingmar Stemmark. La serata sarà seguita dalle principali tv nazionali e internazionali e ripresa dalla trasmissione di Rai2 «La vita in diretta». «Una bella opportunità per la nostra città - ha detto l'assessore all'ambiente Donata Lucchesi - che premia anche il lavoro dell'amministrazione comunale per gli interventi di risanamento del viale e di rimboschimento delle pinete e il Comune sarà espressamente ringraziato per la collaborazione».
